The zombie thriller and horror show ‘The Walking Dead’ has another NFT collection dropping. The current collection by AMC’s partner Orange Comet NFT marketplace is all about Darryl Dixon’s iconic motorcycle.
In Brief:
- NFTs can be minted at 12 pm PT on April 14th & pass holders will have an exclusive an hour Whitelist Pre-Access.
- Along with 5000 Motorcycles, 50 unique model-kit motorcycles will also be available.
For those who participated in the initial NFT drop and obtained a Walker Access Pass, this drop could have significant added value.
The current “Daryl Dixon – Bike Series 1” will feature 5000 Motorcycles– having 20 different bike designs, with 8 different rarities: Super-Legendary, Legendary, Super-Epic, Epic, Super-Rare, Rare, Uncommon, & Common.
There will also be 50 unique model-kit motorcycles available, which are more rare than the bikes available solely through a 48-hour English Auction on OpenSea and do not have a pass holder whitelist.
Walker Access Pass holders will have an exclusive 1 hour Whitelist Pre-Access to the drop which will have an initial mint price set to 0.08 ETH. They will also be able to access matching top-tier Walker Access Pass rarity with Daryl Motorcycle rarity (or its higher variant) and free Airdrops.
Daryl Motorcycle NFTs will be available to be minted at 12 pm PT on April 14th. And for pass holders, the Whitelist Pre-Access will begin at 11 am PT.
The announcement also reveals some more exciting news for pass holders that will be valuable in “The Walking Dead” Virtual Universe.
The auction of 50 unique model-kit motorcycles will have only four top-tier rarities and winners of each auction item will receive a premium “Deed of Land” with a rarity level matching the bike. The “Deed” entitles the owner to a plot of land in the TWD metaverse.
The starting bids for this are priced as Super-Legendary for 3 ETH, Legendary for 2 ETH, Super-Epic for 1 ETH and Epic for 0.75 ETH.
Earlier this year TWD’s flagship broadcaster AMC had announced a partnership with Orange Comet to jointly produce digital memorabilia and NFTs of the show and its inaugural NFTs along with special 5000 Walker Access Pass that were sold within less than 24 hours.
