As tokenized artworks have become a canvas for female empowerment, the global leadership platform and media company Seneca Women has announced the release of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The drop will be done in partnership with Gemini’s Nifty Gateway to celebrate female artists and thus, promote gender equality.
The new, original, limited-edition NFTs dubbed as ‘Seneca Women Equality Collection’ will be dropped on April 25. The collection celebrates female artists and exhibits their artistic vision of a world where equality prevails.
The Artists that would be featured in the Collection includes:
1. Ola Volo from Canada
2. Izzakko from the USA
3. Miss Al Simpson from Scotland
4. Mercedes Debellard from Spain
5. Monica Rizzolli from Brazil
6. Stina Jones from the UK
‘Seneca Women’ will invest a portion of the sale proceeds in other women-led Web3 projects. The artists will be featured at the upcoming Seneca Women Creators Forum which will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, later this year.
Seneca Women and Nifty Gateway aims to bring more women into the NFT and crypto space to ensure that women become a part of the historical, dynamic and disruptive artistic era.
Kim Azzarelli, co-founder of Seneca Women, commented, “We are thrilled to partner with Nifty Gateway, Gemini and these exceptional women artists on The Seneca Women Equality Collection, which we hope will bring more women into Web3 and help us all envision a world where equality prevails.”
NFTs are the space for a ‘decentralized’, equal exhibition of talent and thus, becomes a perfect platform for empowering women in their artistic journey.
In a bid to do the same, we had celebrated ‘International Women’s Day’ like no one else. It was an entire week of ‘Celebration, Art, Women Power and Love’ by covering the most amazing female NFT artists including Grimes, Seneca, Nude Yoga Girl, Cyber Shakti and many others.
