The holders of Adidas’s ‘Into the Metaverse NFT’ are now able to claim the physical merchandise and advance to the Phase 2 of the ITM ecosystem.
Phase 1 NFT is the ticket to claim the merch. Actually upon launch Into the Metaverse NFT collection was sold out quickly and garnered $23 million worth of profits.
Holders are required to burn the Phase 1 NFT to claim the physical merch. There is no fee to claim the merch, however there will be an Ethereum gas fee.
The merch includes iconic adicolor Firebird tracksuit, a graphic hoodie, and NFT influencer gmoney’s signature orange beanie.
The product claim period, as well as the ability to proceed to Phase 2 will be open until May 11th. This means the holders have time to wait for gas prices to decrease if they are currently high.
Holders have the option of selecting several sizes for each item they claim (except for the beanie). They must claim the entire set of products for each ITM NFT they own.
The graphic hoodie and gmoney beanie will be shipped in May with the tracksuit being made to order and shipped in November.
The ITM NFT holders will not be eligible for any Phase 2 utility or advantages if they do not burn Phase 1 NFT, and so do not enter Phase 2. With their Phase 1 NFT, the owners are still able to enter the phase that follows Phase 2.
The Into the Metaverse NFT holders don’t catch a break from all the benefits that come while owning the NFT. Just last month Adidas revealed the exclusive giveaway of 200 Alpha Passes to its ITM holders. Using the Alpha Pass, users can participate in Alpha season 2 on The SandBox.
