The virtual hackathon which is the first Italian HackFest of Ethereum, the SpaghettETH is beginning on the 3rd of May and ending on the 5th of May in Milan, Italy. The hackfest is backed by the management platform Taikai Network which connects creators and companies, by using hackathons as a tool to find, test, and validate new ideas.
The 3 days dev conference includes various workshops and side events. Some of the very intriguing talks are “Institutional DeFi: a new bridge between 2 worlds”, “Powering blockchain technology to solve global supply chain issues”, “The challenges of on-chain privacy for institutional adoption” and “Streaming Money, a new primitive”.
The in-person conference had a limited capacity of 100 people and the tickets (€100) of which are now sold out. The hackathon is divided into categories; each representing a bounty.
- EthOS: DeFi, NFTs, and utilities
- SkillWallet: Self-sovereign portable NFT Identity
- PolygonDAO: Implementation of Scaling Solutions
- IoTeX: IoT, Oracles, and “MachineFi” Dapps
- SpaghettETH: Web3 Education
“All bounties are sponsored by SpaghettETH partners, except the “SpaghettETH” impact track,” the announcement read.
The projects are to be submitted by the 11th of May and the results by the jury of sponsors will be declared by the end of the month.
Moreover, there is also a social track for Web3 education therefore, tech and non-tech people can equally attend the hackfest workshops. The 41 speaker panelists include Skylar Weaver from the Ethereum Foundation, Andrea Cianfruglia from Balancer, Sebastiano Cataudo from the Polygon DAO, and more.
