Canada based iMining technologies has revealed that it has sold two parcels of digital land in the Decentraland metaverse, denoted by NFTs (“Estate”) to a British Columbia Company, Sniper Resources (“Sniper”).
The Metaverse Advisory Group (“MAG”) is a subsidiary of iMining which sold two parcels of digital land in Decentraland metaverse to Sniper that is a reporting issuer in the Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
Sniper issued MAG 26,250,000 common shares of the Company (“Sniper Shares”) as consideration for the Estate, at a deemed price of $0.02 per Sniper Share, amounting to a total of $525,000.
Earlier this year iMining established its wholly owned subsidiary MAG in order to help corporations and major brands step into the metaverse. MAG bought these properties in the secondary market and afterwards it developed the infrastructure for both parcels of lands in the Manhattan District.
iMining believes that in the future, businesses and brands will look at new ways to engage with their stakeholders. Eventually, every business, influencer, philanthropic organization, sports club, education and healthcare organizations will be obligated to have a metaverse presence, according to the company.
“Sniper’s foray into the metaverse is welcomed by our team and we look to have multiple collaborations moving forward between the two organizations. Their entrance into the metaverse marks a new chapter in history for a former resource-based company and this sale adds significant value for MAG as it develops, operates and sells virtual property in the Decentraland metaverse,” said Khurram Shroff, Chairman and the CEO of iMining Technologies.
