One of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, Binance, has extended its alliance with Argentine Football Association (AFA) for 5 Years by signing its first sponsorship agreement.
AFA published a report which read, “the definitive contract seals a 5-year business relationship, through which the company is the Main Global Sponsor of the National Teams, Official Fan Token of AFA and Naming of the AFA Professional Soccer League for said time frame.”
This announcement came right after the Argentine Central Bank banned banks across the country from providing cryptocurrency services.
Binance became the sponsor for Argentina National Football Team just a few months ago and this deal extends the current deal. It was also clarified that this agreement represented one of the most crucial commercial contracts of recent times celebrated by AFA.
“We are very happy to strengthen our relationship with Binance through this important medium-term agreement, which allows us to project actions for five years, work on various projects and establish a work plan that will undoubtedly deliver great results for both parties” said Claudio Tapia, President of AFA.
Maximiliano Hinz, General Director of Binance Latin America said that this partnership is going to bring more technology and innovation to the Argentine sports industry and millions of fans.
