Prominent crypto browser Opera revealed the integration of Binance’s smart contract blockchain BNB Chain on its desktop and mobile version.
With the arrival of the new blockchain over the crypto browser, users will now be able to access important decentralized apps, including popular Decentralized Exchanges like PancakeSwap, 1inch, and BiSwap, and other useful DeFi products like DRIP Venus, Tranchess, Treehouse, ApeSwap, and AutoShark Finance.
Apart from DeFi tools and applications, the Opera browser will provide access to GamerFi dApps such as StarSharks, Thetan Arena, StarryNift, and SecondLive and other NFT-centric applications like Galaxy, NFTrade and Galler.
Opera’s users can now purchase BNB tokens through their fiat currency, which they can transact via the built-in crypto wallet.
In January, Opera introduced a beta version of its crypto browser that opened a gate for users to access decentralized apps.
However, this is not the first time when Opera has locked a deal with blockchain. Opera has already raised support for nine leading blockchains including Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, StarkEx, Ronin, Celo, Nervous Network, and now BNB Chain.
The company slated its approach for multiple blockchain-based ecosystems rather than depending on a single blockchain or tokens.
Furthermore, Opera introduced a “Crypto Corner” with its iOS update, which is a news and data aggregator that covers live crypto updates, crypto-asset price reporting, as well as crypto events, airdrops, and much more.
The blog post stated that with the latest integration of the BNB Chain, Opera will boost web 3’s mainstream adoption.
