The informative Ethereum newsletter and podcast channel on YouTube, Bankless was banned without any prior notice and warning and has since been restored after the community stood up against YouTube.
As per the tweet, On May 8, the Bankless channel was showing an error saying “This page isn’t available.” The channel has over 150K subscribers and contains 10,000+ hours of content with famous crypto and web 3.0 entrepreneurs such as Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
The unthoughtful move from YouTube became a cause of outrage from so many crypto readers and the community. Bankless asked the users to retweet to Youtube about their wrongdoing.

Apart from this, YouTube has also taken down some other Web 3.0 platforms such as ‘Gabriel Haines.eth’ and the ‘Optimism Collective’. However, these bans are not intended to target Web 3.0 or crypto-centric channels. In the past, Youtube has already banned so many channels after finding violations of their community guidelines or any objectionable content but later opted for restoring.
