A leading one-stop Non-fungible Token (NFT) project launcher in Hong Kong, NextGen Tech (NGT), announced that it will be partnering up with the local NFT community, DinoVerse to drop an animal protection charity themed NFT campaign called “Native-born KOLs Unite to Care for Fur Baby”.
A Portion of Proceeds Will be Donated to Animal Care Organizations More Than 100 Local KOLs Take the Steer to participate in “Meta-Street Hong Kong” Is Revealing its Landscape.
It has received a very positive response support from over 100 native artists and key opinion leaders (KOLs), making it the only NFT projects with the most KOL participation so far in Hong Kong.
NGT and DinoVerse are aiming to utilize this opportunity to attract all sectors of the community to care for animals and prevent their abandonment.
Furthermore, 50% of the NFT royalties of all DinoVerse dinosaurs and 10% of the net profit of the project will be donated to three animal protection organizations. It includes The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Paws Guardian Rescue Shelter (PGRS), and Home for Homeless Dog.
The NFT project “Native-born KOLs Unite to Care for Fur Baby” has derived creativity and scheme from DinoVerse’s NFT collection named “Jurassic Metaverse”.
Buyers will be allowed to get an exclusive permit to adopt a dinosaur egg at “DinoVerse Dinosaur Island”, then by hatching their own unique baby dinosaur, the adopter will then become a “Dinos Owner”.
In the initial stage, DinoVerse only gives 5,000 original adoption quotas. After the adoption phase is completed, the second stage called “Virtual Pet Era” unlocks.
Each Dinos owner can gain and collect Experience Points (EXP) by feeding, cleaning, or by playing other mobile-compatible mini games which will level up their baby dinosaurs, permitting them to evolve to more advanced juvenile and adult dinosaurs.
After the whole evolution is completed, the Dinos Owner can obtain an adult dinosaur NFT, which has proprietary copyright and can be publicly traded. The DinoVerse plans for Dinosaur Island to activate more stages and eventually a technological integration with Metaverse.
At present, a lot of brands from various fields have joined the ‘Meta-Street Hong Kong’ to be a part of the new wave, which include fashion, jewelry, and catering. Each store is an NFT, the holder has the right to enlarge the scale, decorate the shop front and transfer the location within the space. This surely is a noteworthy measure in the adoption of web3.
