The play-to-earn game Axie Infinity on the Ronin Ethereum sidechain has announced that Axie Infinity Origin Android APK was deployed yesterday.
The tweet also announced a few other updates, improvements and bug fixes.
The updates include User Interface improvement and a ‘Full HD Graphic’ option being added in the settings.
To make matches more fast-paced, all status and rune effects will start simultaneously, and ‘Bloodmoon’ will start during round 15. Bloodmoon is a battle effect that deals damage to all axies in the field, regardless of whether they have a shield or not.
The improvements and bug fixes listed are that the sound effect volume at the start of a match has been decreased and ‘Scry’ can’t be cancelled anymore, the bug which allowed players to look at opponent’s net drawn cards without spending energy.

This announcement saved the price of Axie Infinity Shards (AXS) from tanking in the currently bearish market. AXS was trading at $17 before the announcement, however its price rose to $24.33 shortly after the announcement.
The Ronin network was hacked a few months ago, resulting in a loss of more than $600 million and making it the largest crypto hack in history. Since then, Sky Mavis, the creator of the Axie Infinity game and Ronin Bridge has revealed its future security roadmap and plans to become a ‘zero-trust’ organization.
