The United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s airline, Emirates Airline, will soon embrace “bitcoin as a payment service,” the chief operating officer (COO) of the company Adel Ahmed Al-Redha stated. Moreover, the airline is going to add non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles on its webpage.
“NFTs and metaverse are two different applications and approaches,” Al-Redha said to the Arab News.
He mentioned that metaverse will help reshape the entire process including areas such as operation and training into an application, making it more enjoyable and interactive. Emirates had announced upcoming NFTs and Metaverse experiences earlier this month.
