The relay infrastructure middleware protocol, Pocket Network, announces its integration with NEAR, proof-of-stake public blockchain.
The updated integration with NEAR enhances the developer experience by allowing them to launch applications on any of Pocket’s supported blockchain networks.
NEAR developers can now avoid concerns about single points of failure owing to congestion or other service disruptions by integrating with many blockchains.
Pocket Network has a global network of over 47,000 full nodes that services Web3 apps on 46 blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Fuse, Avalanche, and Harmony.
Pocket Network’s objective is furthered by adding support for NEAR, which not only provides ample bandwidth for the NEAR blockchain network but also enables revenue generation.

Michael O’Rourke, Co-Founder and CEO of Pocket Network, stated, “Supporting NEAR, the fastest-growing non-EVM L1, is a testament to Pocket’s chain-agnostic mission to support 100 blockchain networks by the end of the year. Pocket goes where the developers and users go, and they are going to NEAR in droves.”
The NEAR ecosystem is likely to see less friction when connecting dApps via Pocket Portal, a layer-2 solution built on top of the Pocket Network protocol, thanks to Pocket Network’s integration autonomously allocating bandwidth and relays.
NEAR applications may take advantage of the benefits that come naturally with a decentralized RPC protocol, such as 100% uptime, low latency, and no monthly SaaS fees, on the app side of the marketplace.
