An award-winning graphic designer and illustrator Varvara Alay is soon to drop her mesmerizing NFT collection ‘Birds of Sōlis’ which is inspired by Audubon’s ‘Birds of America’.
These NFT artworks are set for release on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 10 am PST with pre-sale available on May 25 via Snowcrash.
Her vibrant and surrealist interpretations focus on 20 bird species to produce a generative art series of 2022 pieces in total. To honor the inspiration behind the art itself, ‘Birds of Sōlis’ will be making donations to Nia Tero.
According to Varvara Alay, her artworks are all inspired by birds – from her pieces on Foundation and SuperRare to the Flower Girls collection.
Recently, the Female-led NFT collection The Flower Girls even partnered with Dolphin Entertainment. Same as ‘Birds of Sōlis’, The Flower Girls also dedicated donations to charities – especially those that benefit children.
Snowcrash founder Jesse Dylan who tapped Varvara with the idea of collaborating, also showed her excitement by saying “The entire team is honored to work with her on our very first fine art NFT drop. Varvara’s work is like no other artists in the space, plus it gives immense reverence to nature and preserving the environment – something that is aligned with what we all are committed to at Snowcrash.”
Moreover, ‘Birds of Sōlis’ illustrates the Audubon birds and applies artistry to the limitless creative possibilities offered by NFTs, says Alay. ‘
Birds of Sōlis’ is the first drop on the new innovative NFT platform Snowcrash which launched in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and Universal Music Group (UMG) in March 2022.
In the same month, Bob Dylan and Miles Davis’ NFTs were confirmed with the emergence of two music giants: Sony Music and Universal Music on the Solana-based NFT platform Snowcrash.
