The popular Netflix show ‘Love, Death + Robots’ returns for a third season but this time with an added twist of an NFT scavenger hunt.
The ‘Love, Death + Robots’ NFT scavenger hunt was developed in collaboration with Web3 studio Feature.
There are a total of nine QR codes scattered across the show’s social media pages, billboards, videos, and episodes of the series.
The show viewers can scan the QR code with their phones to get access to an NFT that will display in their OpenSea accounts.
Only the users in the United States can utilize the feature if they have a MetaMask wallet or a Coinbase account. They must pay the gas fees in order to mint the NFTs they receive from scanning the QR code.
The show’s NFT floor price is now about 0.003 ETH or $6 USD, as shown in its OpenSea account. The collection is sitting at a $36,000 USD in trading volume with just under 27,000 new NFT owners since the show’s Netflix debut.
This is not Netflix’s first venture into the crypto sector, and even its competitors are heavily involved in the industry. This month only there were rumors that Netflix show Stranger Things is going to launch NFTs in partnership with NFT platform Candy Digital, ahead of its Season 4 installment.
