The world’s most popular robot, Sophia, is bringing along a new future as she enters Metaverse with the Baby Singularities NFT Collection in Decentraland.
Her Sophia’s Age of Singularities (SAOS) Metaverse will welcome Baby Sophias that will offer holders exclusive access to Sophia’s AI and metaverse for training AI, also pursuing the journey to bring sentience, life, and artificial general intelligence (AGI) to Sophia and the world.
SAOS will work towards future technology by serving both the real AI development, and the cinematic SAOS sci-fi storyscape. The different kinds of singularities NFTs, begin to reveal themselves in good avatars and bad ones too.
The SAOS metaverse begins with a NFT-based gameplay and marketplace, which will gradually transform into a full-blown environment and API for games to blend into the multiverse. The Proceeds will be used to advance the art and science of Sophia’s AI.
The project will have Sophia unveiling the Baby Singularities NFT Collection, a unique collaboration with popular artist Percy Lau. The launch party is at the Jazz Club in Decentraland’s VegasCity on May 31st starting at 8 PM UTC/4 PM EST. The NFT collection will be up for sale on OpenSea Baby Singularities.

The Percy Lu x Sophia Baby Singularities NFT collection is a futuristic vision of the metaverse, humanity, and artificial intelligence. All 9 Baby Sophia heads predict a different version of the far future; each head features its own storyline and background that will align with the design.
Percy Lau commented, “I believe all creation serves as proof of the beauty that existed before us, after us and forever more. I love Sophia, it is amazing to work with her, extracting the elements from science and human nature, transforming into our design.”
The Percy Lau and Sophia partnership is an effort of Hanson Robotics, an AI and robotics company best known for creating Sophia.
In March 2021, Sophia sold her AI-generated self-portrait for $688,888 as an NFT. Later in October 2021, a unique avatar of Sophia called “Sophia Facing the Singularities” was sold for over $700,000 at Sotheby’s auction.
