The virtual social space Decentraland kicks off Pride Month by announcing that it is set to host Metaverse Pride, which is a month-long celebration featuring performances from popular musicians and “experiences that will help celebrate and amplify the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community”.
According to the announcement, the Metaverse Pride is presented in collaboration with METAPRIDE LAND, Mastercard, and Teleperformance.

The event is set to become a welcoming space for the LGBTQIA+ community in places where pride month celebrations are not accessible.
The Metaverse Pride Parade will begin on June 11th at 9 pm UTC and will continue on stage in the parade area.
From that point until the end of June the event will be live 24/7, giving new visitors the opportunity to catch the celebration every time they visit Decentraland.
During the parade, multi-award-winning international artist Thalia will have her own extravagant float, which will be accompanied by other blockchain ventures such as the Immersive Kind, Known Origin and others .
Original Penguin has designed a physical pride collection to aid the AllOut organization, and its digital twins will be available for Decentraland users throughout Pride Month.
Web3 community HUG is unveiling a huggable Glitter Robot as a tribute to its objective of leveling the playing field and increasing inclusivity.
MyBFF, a community dedicated to empowering women and non-binary individuals in Web3, will participate in the parade with floats constructed by the community, including a rainbow Zeppelin.
Metaverse Pride will feature performances and experiences this month from artists like Thalia, Puma Camillê, who is a queer black-indigenous Brazilian capoeira dancer, and non-binary tango musician and activist FIFI.
The first weekend of Metaverse Pride will be headlined by Thalia. Following the performance, three Thalia Wearables will be launched, one of which will be given to each parade attendee.

METAPRIDE LAND will conduct a twin Pride event during Decentraland and New York City Pride. Jake Resnicow and Matt Stevenson teamed up to present the event to ensure that LGBTQIA+ individuals may celebrate Pride from the comfort of their own homes.
Galantis, Above & Beyond, Aquaria, and 20+ other artists will perform during the event, which will be livestreamed into Decentraland. On June 25th, the live event will take place at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, NY.
The Mastercard Pride Plaza will feature candid conversations with LGBTQIA+ thought leaders, a showcase of NFT wearables created by LGBTQIA+ artists, and the chance to connect with other community members.
Cash Labs Gallery will be celebrating the work of Queer Icon and Celebrity Photographer Mike Ruiz and his current NFT series “Leathermen”, on June 5th.
On June 11th, Cash Labs will launch a gallery takeover by UnicornDAO featuring some of the iconic Queer talents in Web3 including Pussy Riot.
Panel discussions featuring media personalities and queer icons will be organised by curators at various places across Decentraland as part of the Pride Panel Series.
