Colombian football superstar James Rodríguez is packaging everything he has worked for over the years and releasing a limited edition commemorative NFT collection on the ZKSea NFT marketplace. This would mark the athlete’s first foray into the world of NFTs.
This will be one of the first major releases for ZKSpace’s NFT platform. James Rodríguez’s NFT collection will provide an opportunity for his supporters and ardent followers to participate and become a part of an exclusive fan community.

The NFT collection is called “Zurda”, which is Spanish for “left foot”. Zurda, a collection of 1500 NFTs, will be available in the form of auction and mystery boxes beginning around mid-June. These NFTs, which are photo highlights of key achievements in Rodríguez’s career, will be made available in four different rarities.
- 1 Platinum NFT – auction beginning at 1 ETH,
- 10 Gold NFTs – auction starting at 0.6 ETH,
- 400 Silver NFTs – presale for 0.12 ETH & 0.15 for public sale, and
- 1,089 Bronze NFTs – presale for 0.12 ETH & 0.15 for public sale.
The Mystery Boxes presale will start on June 15th, 2022, where some of the top-ranking pieces will be given signed memorabilia and even the chance to have a video call with James Rodríguez himself.
Besides that, ZKSea is offering a whitelist scheme to early adopters who help co-create the ZKSea community. The benefits of joining the whitelist include a 20% discount on the mystery box and the ability to reserve a minting spot for an NFT.
The Bronze and Silver NFTs are based on eight iconic James Rodríguez moments. Additionally, not only will Platinum and Gold NFT owners receive guaranteed whitelist spots for future NFTs to be displayed on ZKSpace, but a randomly selected Gold NFT owner will also have the chance to receive an exclusive blessing video, recorded by Rodríguez.
Speaking of illustrious achievements in Rodríguez’s career, we can safely expect some of these grand moments to be turned into an NFT moment.
The announcement teased his NFTs can include his appearance for Colombia at the 2014 World Cup in Uruguay, his receiving of the 2014/15 Liga BBVA Best Midfielder award, and other memorable moments from his time with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Everton.
The James Rodríguez Commemorative NFT Edition, “Zurda”, solidifies the legend’s fan base and helps promote the sport.
