Globally prominent crypto exchange platform Binance has partnered with The Weeknd, to become the official sponsor of the singer’s “After Hours Til Dawn” tour.
While Binance US will be the official sponsor for the US part of the tour, the rest of the tour will be sponsored by Binance.
Yi He, the co-founder of Binance said, “We are excited to be an exclusive crypto partner of The Weeknd’s tour, giving fans and people the ability to interact with crypto in a new avenue.”
The tour, which begins on July 8, will be the first global concert tour that integrates Web3 to enhance the fan experience.
Binance will release an exclusive NFT collection for the tour in partnership with HXOUSE, which is a think-center and community incubator for creative entrepreneurs.
Co-branded tour merchandise will also be released. The virtual ticket stubs of the attendees will give them access to commemorative NFTs which will provide unique fan experiences.
The XO Humanitarian Fund, which was launched by The Weeknd earlier this year, will receive a 2 million dollar donation from Binance as a part of this partnership.
Moreover, a special NFT collection is being created by The Weeknd and Binance, and 5% of the sales of this collection will be donated to the humanitarian fund.

“It made perfect sense to work together and I can’t wait for fans to experience crypto within a creative avenue while supporting a good cause. There are so many possibilities with crypto and I think this is just the beginning.”
