The leading Smart Contract Hub for WebAssembly (WASM) and EVM, Astar Network has announced that it will offer AWS Activate by Amazon Web Services to support its Builders and Incubation Programs.
The Astar Builders Program was built to assist the development, growth, as well as adoption of the Polkadot ecosystem by supporting teams who are operating on it.
It enables developers to build applications and infrastructure to meet the blockchain community’s requirements. It also assists in developing and making apps that can push further the Web3 space.
As a part of the program, Astar ecosystem projects will get technical, networking, fundraising as well as marketing assistance from the AWS team.
All startups that join the Astar Builders Program or even the Astar Incubation Program, will be able to enjoy the AWS Activate Program.
The AWS Activate Program will be eligible for up to $100,000 USD of credits to cover AWS service usage. Teams will also be permitted to access technical mentoring with experts from AWS and other industry professionals.
AWS Activate will also provide free tools, resources, and more to get started quickly on AWS. AWS Activate offers startups with a host of benefits, including AWS credits, AWS support plan credits, as well as architecture guidance. These in return will help in growing the business of startups.

Activate benefits are built to give users the right mix of tools, resources, as well as expert assistance so users can succeed with AWS while optimizing performance, managing risk, and keeping costs affordable.
Astar released its incubation program during February 2022 to offer additional help to the ecosystem’s projects. The program provides all the benefits of the Builders Program, along with seed funding opportunities to speed up the projects’ time to market.
“Providing AWS Activate program towards Astar Network to help expand its Builders Program and Incubation program harness better engagement among its community is a natural next step for us,” said Hiroshi Hata, Head of Japan Startup Business Development, Amazon Web Services Japan G.K. (AWS).
