Famous rapper Jim Jones along with mumble rappers Migos released a NFT music video of “We Set The Trends” with its NFT art in the metaverse of Decentraland. As per Decentraland’s official tweet, this latest video was released on June 2 in the Metaverse Theater.
“We Set The Trends” showcases animation by 15 different NFT artists, the video’s creative director, EddieVisual stated. Most prominent arts include several Bored Ape Yacht Club avatars which appear in Jim Jones’s recent LimeWire sponsored Web3 project.
The first 1,000 gamers who visited the Metaverse Theater to watch “We Set The Trends” got rewarded with a special wearable NFT. Decentraland says that these lucky visitors will have early access to mint a “We Set The Trends” NFT as well later the current month.
The players who missed the first show of the event could still visit Decentraland to see the latest partnership between these artists. Latest reports hint that the video will run till June 10 in Decentraland’s Metaverse Theater. The team behind this video also dropped a Discord channel for news on future NFT releases.
The famous P2P platform, Limewire backed Decentraland’s NFT video “We Set The Trends”. This project follows the news of Universal Music Group’s partnership with Limewire to expand its own NFT market.
