Veteran actor Sir Anthony Hopkins has expressed interest in buying NFTs and asked fellow Web3 and NFT- savvy celebrities– Snoop Dogg, Reese Witherspoon and Jimmy Fallon for advice.
The actor tweeted, ”I’m astonished by all the great NFT artists. Jumping in to acquire my first piece, any recommendations? @SnoopDogg @JimmyFallon @ReeseW.”
Jimmy Fallon was the first to respond and wrote, “I love your pondering photo. There a bunch of great artists out there and it’s a fun community in general. But, as the great Aaron Neville once said “I don’t know much – but I know I love you.” And that may be all you need to know. DM me.”
Apart from him, hundreds of NFT netizens, fans and enthusiasts commented on the tweet expressing their excitement at Hopkins entering the NFT world.
Hopkins tweeted for help selecting NFTs right after he changed his Twitter display name to ‘AHopkins.eth’, which is an Ethereum Name Service (ENS) that points to a crypto wallet.
Although Hopkins purchased the ENS name back in May, it seems he hasn’t purchased any NFTs yet.
Hopefully top NFT influencer Snoop Dogg or Reese Witherspoon, who is working on an NFT movie will be able to help him out, since Jimmy Fallon has already extended his support.
