Amid the horrors of the crypto market crash, BAYC and MAYC NFT holders are celebrating their annual ApeFest in New York, with surprise performances from bands like LCD Soundsystem.
The fest is being conducted at Pier 17 from June 20-23 and allows admittance of only BAYC, MAYC NFT holders and their guests.
The fest features live music and entertainment. ApeFest 2022 hosted sets from LCD Soundsystem, Amy Schumer, and DJ Questlove.
LCD Soundsystem played a full set including “Daft Punk is Playing at My House,” “Tribulations,” “Dance Yrself Clean,” among quite a few others.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection rose to fame in 2021 and has since been known as an elite collective boasted by several celebrities.
The collective, however, is often targeted by hackers and is on the receiving end of regular phishing attacks.
