The U.S. affiliate of the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance, Binance.US, offers zero fees on bitcoin trading to all users in its new pricing model.
According to the blog post, users will be able to trade with zero fees on four spot market pairs, BTC/USD, BTC/USDT, BTC/USDC, and BTC/BUSD.
Customers are also free to access the over-the-counter (OTC) gateway and convert funds between other cryptocurrencies without paying any fees. However, using the Buy Crypto feature will still incur a 0.5% fee for platform users.
Despite having the lowest fees in the market, Binance.US is altering its pricing structure to give users an even better experience and more value.
Binance.US Chief Executive Brian Shroder, stated “We see this as an opportunity to revolutionize the way fees are approached in our industry, increase accessibility to crypto, and help our market and customers in a time of need.”
The update comes as the price of major cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, has fallen drastically amid the crypto winter. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at a price of $20,553.
Two weeks back, Binance.US unveiled high yield crypto staking services for its customers. The aim of this launch was to outperform similar products from other US-based exchanges like Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, etc.
