NFT creator Moon Marbles recently came to the aid of Neil, by hosting a race tournament for him. Niel is the founder of BODL NFT and he became the victim of the NFT scam where he lost all his NFTs and ETH.
Neil posted a thread on Twitter detailing how he lost his NFTs. He was tagged in a random mutant ape post with a link to mint a pre-mint pass.
Neil copied the link to his MetaMask app and tried minting. When it didn’t work, he sent the link to his friend asking them to verify it.
That is when Neil realised he might have been scammed. Upon realisation, he immediately revoked the permission for his wallet.
Still he lost the majority of his NFTs, including Wolf Game pouches which were worth about $700,000. He also lost 20 ETH.
This is when Moon Marbles decided to step in and tweeted, “Sadly, one of our @wolfdotgame family members @neilbodl recently was hacked losing all assets and $WOOL.”
They then announced a multi-race tournament to help the victim. 75% of the proceeds of the race would go to Neil and the rest 25% would go towards the top 3 winners.
The tournament had an entry fee of 0.03 ETH. After the event, Moon Marbles sent Neil 0.30 ETH.
