Animoca attained successful investments during the previous crypto winter, claims Gen Kanai, the director of strategic partnerships at the Hong Kong based blockchain gaming studio.
Furthermore, Gen Kanai mentioned “the investments made in the Sandbox, Dapper Labs, Open Sea and Sky Mavis had done well during the last crypto winter” in an interview during the IVS Crypto event 2022 event held in downtown Naha, Okinawa.
With funding over $1.5 billion dollars across 340 investments up until 30th April, Animoca has invested into upcoming NFT, Metaverse and Web 3.0 projects. Majority of these investments made during the crypto winter turned out to be successful.
