Singapore-based blockchain Klaytn partnered up with NFT marketplace OpenSea to invest further into Web 3 in the Asian markets. This collaboration makes Klaytn, one of the four blockchains supported by OpenSea, in addition to Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana.
“This gives Klaytn an advantage in onboarding gaming and metaverse-related use cases in the region. With our belief that web3 is a collaborative effort, the Klaytn-OpenSea partnership puts us in good stead to collectively increase the prominence and vibrancy of Asia’s NFT ecosystem” said David Shin, Head of Global Adoption at Klaytn Foundation.
In terms of the partnership’s long-term results the firms intend to jointly create a more seamless metaverse, with a flourishing ecosystem of digital games and cutting-edge services that enjoy the advantages of enhanced liquidity and interoperability in Asia.
