A rockstar and nine-time Grammy Award-nominated artist Post Malone will enter the metaverse and debut his latest album in the Horizon Block Party on July 15, at 6 p.m. PT.
Post Malone said, “I’m pumped for the fans to have this VR experience of Twelve Carat Toothache. We put so much work into this to make it as incredible as possible. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this to life.”
Twelve Carat Toothache: A VR Experience is a 40 minute concert film and visual album, featuring the likes of Fleet Foxes, Roddy Ricch and The Kid Laroi.
The 180-degree experience was created specially for virtual reality, complete with set design, practical effects and camera framing tailored for 180 display.

However, this 3D experience will only be available to owners of Quest 2, who are 18+ and reside in the US, UK or Canada.
At the same time a 2D version will be released on Facebook and Instagram as well as the ‘Watch Together’ feature on Instagram and Messenger video calls.
The pre-recorded 3D experience will be played three times in July and will be available in Horizon Worlds until September 30.
