The famous African–American contemporary artist Nina Chanel Abney is gearing up to drop her first-ever NFT collection “Super Cool World” on the Goda NFT platform.
Just last month artists like KAWS, Nina Chanel Abney, and Pharrell Williams launched the NFT platform Goda, “a premiere resource that allows exploration, education, and empowerment for artists and buyers in this new digital era.”
Chanel Abney’s NFT collection will be launched today at 10 AM EST and close on July 14th at 10 AM EST for the Goda Mint Pass holders, strategic partners, and community giveaway winners. The date is special because it’s Abney’s mother’s birthday.
The Super Cool World is a PFP project comprising 5,080 NFTs that are made up of hundreds of traits designed by Nina Chanel Abney that reflect her “frenetic collage-like approach to visual media.”
This is also the first artist drop of the Goda NFT platform with Nina as the co-founder inaugurating it. The mint price of the Super Cool World collection is 0.5 ETH.
As an alternate method of communication with fans and collectors, this NFT collection was created. Nina Chanel Abney is fascinated by the NFTs’ limitless potential and capabilities, which enable much deeper involvement with one’s community.
Abney hinted that in addition to unique NFTs, the holders may get access to “exclusive Nina merchandise, collaborative product releases, airdrops, events, incentivized participation in exhibitions, and surprise raffle drawings.”
For individuals who won the Premint.xyz allowlist raffle, the day 2 of minting will begin on Thursday, July 14 at 12 PM EST.
In comparison to the nearly 60k raffle submissions the Goda team received, this allowlist mint is slightly oversubscribed. “Allow list spots may not guarantee you a mint as allow list may be over-subscribed,” the announcement notes.
The Goda mint pass holders would be able to mint two Super Cool World NFTs per pass held and allow list post winners will be able to mint only one NFT from the collection.
The Goda mint pass is an NFT that offers holders exclusive access to Goda artists and drops. The mint pass owners will receive priority mint and allowlist opportunities for all future Goda artists’ drops.
