Crypto exchange Coinbase receives regulatory approval in Italy to offer ongoing crypto services to its residents. As per the blog post, the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM) imposed new criteria that all crypto trading or custody organizations must meet before continuing to provide services in Italy, and Coinbase became one of the first platforms to meet the criteria.
“As we continue to grow across Europe and other regions, maintaining our strong regulatory relationships will ensure that we will continue to bring to market the products that our customers want, through the most trusted and secure platform in the cryptoeconomy,” stated Nana Murugesan, VP, International, and Business Development of Coinbase.
In May, Binance got the regulator approval in Italy for offering crypto services from Organismo Agenti e Mediatori itself.
