Open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, Dogecoin launched its new Dogecoin Core 1.14.6 update with some new features and improvements.
The developer of the new software, Patrick Lodder stated that the new update will enhance the network’s efficiency with tightening security features.
In the blog post, the Dogecoin team asked all Dogecoin Core users including miners, services, relay operators, and wallet users to update their software.
Two major breakthrough changes that happened in the update are changes in the RPC methods and the maximum number of addnode records that a node will track has been limited to 800.
Most interestingly, the new dogecoin update changed the recommended dust limit for all participants from 1 DOGE to 0.01 DOGE.
