Crypto exchange platform Gemini has announced that the company is the first to be registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) by the Central Bank of Ireland.
The platform can now offer its host of products and services to the Irish citizens. The platform had been granted an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland, in February 2022.
Gemini inaugurated its EU headquarters in Dublin in 2021. The headquarters is headed by Gillian Lynch, former chief strategy officer at Leveris.
