The new relationship has led to Old Navy releasing Bored Ape T-shirts on its website. This had made them the newest retailers to mint an official relationship with the blockbuster NFT project.Â
The T-shirts listed on the Old Navy/Gap website cost somewhere around $18.99 on BAYC #7285 grey T-shirts.
The BAYC #7285 is owned by a person known as @dora_and_dolly on Twitter. As the ownership of the registered NFT lies with its owner on the blockchain, it seems Old Navy has compensated @dora_and_dolly for this deal.
Old Navy and BAYC have collaborated to create this T-shirt together. The first from an upcoming line that will feature characters likely from several popular non-fungible token collections.
With this partnership, we can hope for more such blue-chip NFTs promoted by Old Navy in-store and online through the creation of merchandise.Â
