The recently attacked Acala Network has recovered another 1.682 billion aUSD, in addition to 1.292 billion aUSD, which was recovered and burned (after a governance vote) a few days ago. Thus a total of 2.974 billion aUSD have been recovered from 16 addresses.
However, 48 million aUSD are yet to be recovered. In addition, the network suffered a major exploit on August 14, with hackers minting billions of aUSD without collateral.
This attack also resulted in the depegging of the aUSD, resulting in a price drop of 99%. However, the stablecoin has since recovered close to $1 peg and is trading at $0.85 at the time of writing.
