Congratulations are in order! NFT whale Vis.ETH is the new owner of Bored Ape #5383 after spending 777 ETH (approx $1.5 Million) to purchase the gold fur primate.
What makes it newsworthy? Because Solid Gold fur is one of the rarest of rare traits found in only 46 Apes which also makes this purchase one of the most expensive Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs.
Vis.ETH paid $1,478,000 for Bored Ape #5383, a six-trait gold fur ape with a lumberjack shirt, angry eyes, and a bored unshaven mouth. It is the 320th most rare primate according to Rarity Tools.
Vis.ETH purchased the bored ape #5383 from an NFT trader going by the alias “q” (zymerce), who had previously purchased it for 95 ETH. As a result, q made a profit of nearly almost 500% from this transaction.
“I wanted to collect a golden monkey. 777eth is a suitable price. Yuga will be the first successful social verse,” Vis.ETH said.
