The largest crypto exchange, Binance’s US subsidiary has expanded its operations to Nevada, obtaining a money transmitter license from the Nevada Department of Business and Industry’s Financial Institutions Division.
The move supports the exchange’s ongoing efforts to improve compliance, with Nevada becoming the seventh jurisdiction to grant the exchange a Money Transmitter License in 2022, following West Virginia, Connecticut, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Idaho, and Puerto Rico.
Brian Shroder, CEO of Binance.US said, “We continue to take the necessary steps to ensure we are operationally compliant across the United States, our customers’ assets are secure, and our platform is safe and transparent.”
