The veteran NFT collection CryptoPunks still reigns supreme as it flipped the celebrity-favorite Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC)’s NFTs floor price for the first time since March. Even if it was for a brief amount of time, CryptoPunks has been catching up with BAYC’s floor price since June and it could soon snatch the top back.
According to NFT Floor Price, CryptoPunks was at 66.45 ETH in floor price and BAYC at second with 65.99 ETH for a short duration. At the time of writing, Cryptopunks and BAYC NFT collections’ floor price is 66.45 ETH and 68.48 ETH respectively.
With Yuga Labs releasing IP rights agreement for CryptoPunks and Meebits NFTs, the OG NFT collection may soon take its throne back and the community is very much excited about what the future looks like for the Punks.
