Mendoza Tax Administration (ATM), a tax authority in Argentina’s western province, announced the integration of a new feature on the official website of the government that enables taxpayers to pay taxes and fees using cryptocurrencies.
On August 27, the official announcement stated that the ATM added the “Pay online” button on the website. The move is part of the Mendoza Tax Administration initiative of modernization and innovation.

However, the settlement for tax will not be fully controlled by the administration yet. The tax paid in the cryptocurrencies will be converted into pesos by an unknown online payment service company and then it will be handed over in cash to the government.
