The CEO and founder of crypto platform FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) tweeted that his platform is not “planning to acquire Huobi”.
Earlier this month, there were rumors that the Huobi Group founder Leon Li is in talks with Justin Sun and Sam Bankman-Fried among other investors to sell his majority stakes at $3 billion value.
Reports suggested that Li was seeking to sell off nearly 60% of the firm he founded in 2013 and was discussing the same with a few investors.
