“The merge is cause for celebration,” said ConsenSys as it announced the launch of one of the first sustainable NFT drops on Ethereum mainnet called Regenesis.
To celebrate the historic moment, ConsenSys is inviting everyone to one of the first sustainable NFT drops on Ethereum mainnet. The NFTs will depict intricate detailed worlds that encompasses benefits of the Merge namely, sustainability, security, and scalability.
The minting of Regenesis will start on the day of the Merge around 9am EST and will be open for 72 hours and available to all. However, ConsenSys will also update about when the minting can begin as the Merge event comes closer.
The NFT is free and anyone can mint as many as possible through individual transactions. However, one will have to pay gas fees for every mint. The gas fees will vary depending on the activity on Ethereum mainnet.
The NFTs were created in partnership with Invisible North to design a series of illustrations by artist and illustrator Chris Skinner and the NFT animations were made by Keithcity Group.
