The Chair of SEC, Gary Gensler has announced that he will be speaking about Crypto at the NYC summit at the Metropolitan Pavilion to be held on September 8th at 10 am. Gensler will be joined by the former secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker.
The topics to be covered in the event include SEC’s regulatory agenda, and discussions on asset management and crypto. Gensler’s remarks will be open to the press later.
The chairman of SEC has always been in the news and had a quite controversial opinion recently on why the crypto market shouldn’t be treated differently from other capital markets.
