Yesterday, twitter witnessed a rather fun exchange between Elon Musk and Binance CEO CZ (Changpeng Zhao) as Musk said ‘90% of [his] comments are bots,’ and Zhao agreed to it.
But what was more humorous is that Musk shared a screenshot of various fake accounts of Changpeng Zhao replying to Musk. Zhao replied via his ‘official handle’ to the tweet, “I agree. Only this one is real”.
Later on joining in the banter was a tweet from Binance’s official handle, “@Twitter please, I see enough of my boss already. Can you help so I don’t have to see him 99x more each day?”
Seems like the duo have had quite a few ‘common notions as well as interests’. To trace back the ‘like-mindedness’, note that Musk had earlier revealed his plans to acquire Twitter and Zhao had also backed Musk’s decision, committing $500 million to the acquisition.
Later on, the decision was supported by Crypto firms such as Sequoia and Andreessen Horowitz, as they posted $800 million and $400 million, respectively.
