Automaker Ford Motor is illustrating a comprehensive uptick in its efforts toward NFTs, virtual automobiles, and everything metaverse & web3. On September 2nd, the vehicle brand filed for a whopping 19 trademarks related to the crypto space with the USPTO.
Michael Kondoudis, a trademark attorney, tweeted:
The trademarks are segmented into goods and services, such as
- downloadable multimedia files containing artwork featuring automobiles, SUVs, trucks, and vans authenticated by NFTs;
- downloadable virtual goods, accessories, and clothing for use in online virtual worlds;
- providing online exhibitions through virtual reality and augmented reality, among other things;
- Online retail store services featuring NFTs and digital collectibles

- MUSTANG MACH-E
- LINCOLN
- TRANSIT
- FORD
- ESCAPE
- LIGHTNING
- EXPEDITION
- BRONCO
- MAVERICK
- EXPLORER

- MUSTANG
Other automakers have so far also used metaverse and NFT projects as a medium to make their voices heard and connect to the audiences.
