Crypto lender Celsius Network declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July, citing “extreme” market conditions. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed to be involved in the bankruptcy case.
Katherine Johnson and Katherine Aizpuru, two FTC lawyers, asked the judge overseeing Celsius’ proceedings for permission to represent the FTC. According to a filing, Johnson applied to “represent the Federal Trade Commission in the aforementioned jointly administered cases and any related adversary proceedings.”
They also requested a copy of all relevant documents. By the time of writing, none of the requests had been granted.
