The popular American video game GameStop’s head of Blockchain, Matt Finestone has quit as he reveals in his ‘farewell’ tweet.
In a series of tweets, Matt Finestone thanked the firm and revealed his plans to continue working within the Ethereum ecosystem, and also return closer to the protocol/infrastructure level. There’s never been a more exciting time to be an Etherean.
He tweeted, “The past year and a half has been among the most meaningful of my life. I am so grateful to so many, and excited for what this motivated new division will continue to accomplish”, while recalling his professional journey from 0 people to several dozen staff.
Finestone had started working at GameStop in April 2021, as per his Linkedin profile.
