The website for Ethereum Name Service (ENS) which is behind all the addresses ending with ‘.eth’ is back online after winning the decree against GoDaddy.
Nick Johnson, founder of ENS revealed, “We are pleased with the court’s decision and are happy users can now resume using eth.link without disruption.” In the tweet users are requested to use the website or they can also keep using the community-run alternative.
In September, the company behind ENS, True Names had sued GoDaddy, alleging that GoDaddy had incorrectly told eth.link users that the address registration had expired.
The allegations further said that GoDaddy also sold the rights to the domain to the Web3 start up, Manifold Finance before it was supposed to be available for repurchase.
