The company that owns the metaverse platform The Sandbox, Animoca Brands, announced some new faces in its senior management and executive board, beginning with the appointment of Jared Shaw as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who was previously the head of finance at Gemini.
“Jared has a wealth of experience spanning audit, asset management, crypto, and more. He joins us at a time when the finance team is growing rapidly and building strong capabilities” said Evan Auyang, President of Animoca Brands.
May Szeto, a former executive at J.P. Morgan Chase, Nomura Securities, MGPA (now part of Blackrock), and Bloomberg L.P., has been named group human resources director.
Jamii Quoc has been named head of legal – commercial and M&A, where she will oversee the legal team on commercial and investment transactions.
In addition, Samuel Tse and Josh Du have been appointed to manage Animoca Brands’ digital asset treasury and drive the company’s strategic investment, respectively.
