As per the latest reports, Israel’s market regulators have granted local crypto exchange ‘Bits of Gold’ one of its first Capital Markets License making it the first crypto firm in the country to earn the license.
With the license, Bits of Gold will now be able to store digital currencies through secured custody in their “Bits of Gold Wallet” that they have been working on for some time. The wallet could be rolled out starting next month.
The license will also help the firm to offer services for banks and other financial institutions to connect to its digital asset services.
Bits of Gold has stated that the license is the next move in its goal to make digital currencies more accessible to the Israeli public “in a simple and secure manner.”
Bits of Gold has also shared plans to launch a platform that will help local and European banks and fintech firms to offer clients crypto for purchase.
