In partnership with Flexa, the popular American fast-food restaurant chain Chipotle is offering 99.95% off on Garlic Guajillo Steak to celebrate Ethereum Merge’s Proof of stake mechanism.
As per the announcement, until October 4, if customers use Flexa to spend Ethereum at any Chipotle restaurant in the US, they can save 99.95% off the purchase.
The figure is significant in the way that it is also the amount of energy savings from Ethereum’s transition to proof-of-stake consensus.
Users can download SPEDN if they don’t have a Flexa-enabled app and deposit some ETH to avail the offer.
The offer is valid from September 27, 2022 to October 4, 2022, till the supplies last. Offer can be redeemed only at Chipotle stores and not online or in-app.
There is a limit of 1 eligible transaction per Flexa account i.e. maximum discount of $20 per purchase. This offer cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Also, note that the offer is subject to termination or modification at any time.
