The North Korean infamous Lazarus hacking group is now targeting developers and artists into crypto via fake Crypto.com job offers according to reports. The malicious intentions of the hackers are to steal digital assets and cryptocurrency in this latest fraudulent job advertisement scheme.
This malware attack encourages members of the crypto community to download a PDF document showcasing the open vacancies at Crypto.com including the Singapore-based Art Director role among others.
When the interested candidate proceeds to download the PDF, they unknowingly fall victim to a trojan horse attack. This leads to compromised personal data and financial information.
