The largest telecommunications company of Spain, Telefónica will now allow users to buy technology products on its Tu.com marketplace with crypto.
The company has partnered with Spanish crypto exchange Bit2Me to make this possible. Telefónica has also invested an undisclosed amount in the above mentioned crypto exchange.
The telecom company also has its own NFT marketplace on the Polygon blockchain.
Telefónica recently closed a deal with Qualcomm, to further explore opportunities in the product and service segment in the metaverse.
